Review

I’ve had She Was the Quiet One on my bookshelf for many months now and finally decided it was time to read my first Michele Campbell book. So glad I did because this was an excellent book!

I loved the whole premise being centered on twin sisters who are completely different from one another. The suspense and tension Campbell builds from the very beginning really kept me reading and wondering where it was going. I also really enjoyed that there were at least a couple of likable characters to go with a handful of those that were less than likable. This book is sort of a slow build but was done in such a way that I think keeps it far from being boring. Nothing is quite as it seems in this twisty thriller filled with lies, betrayal, and seduction. It will keep you on your toes until the end!

I’m also highly anticipating Michele Campbell’s upcoming novel A Stranger on the Beach. It will be available in July so make sure you add it to your TBR list!
